Founded in 2025 by Vishvendra Sirohi, PlantsNearMe began as a passion project to solve a simple problem: “Why is it so hard to find trustworthy nurseries nearby?” After struggling to source quality plants for his Delhi apartment, Vishvendra (an horticulture enthusiast) set out to create India’s first hyperlocal nursery network.

The Problem We Saw 🌱
Delhi-NCR’s rapid urbanization has created two growing issues:
- Lost Green Access: Residents struggle to find local nurseries, often settling for poor-quality plants from generic online sellers.
- Nursery Struggles: Small nurseries lack digital visibility, losing customers to corporate garden stores.
- Climate Ignorance: 60% of plants die within months because buyers don’t get climate-specific guidance.

We’re bridging the gap between plant lovers and trusted nurseries through:
- Hyperlocal Discovery: Map-based search for nurseries within 3km
- Nursery Verification: 12-point quality check (soil testing, plant health, pricing transparency)
- Delhi-Proof Gardening: Curated lists of air-purifying, dust-resistant, and monsoon-friendly plants

Focus: Noida & Ghaziabad
